Organized by East End Volleyball, a New York-based organizer of beach volleyball leagues and tournaments, and the Caribbean Tourism Development Company (CTDC), the marketing and business development unit owned equally by the Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA) and the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), the tournament is expanding this year to include a competition between the two finalists from the east coast tournaments with Caribbean teams to compete at the finale in the Caribbean Beach Volleyball Championship.
